How do I begin describing this wine? If I had it blind, I would guess northern Spain Mencia or Beaujolais, but there are some untraceable and inexplicable characteristics that would throw one off. The nose is filled with sea salt and this unique wild black pepper note. Of course, like all light Spanish reds, there is the gorgeous pomegranate and naval orange skin roaming character which makes this wine so freaking exotic on both the palate and nose. 12% ABV, this wine is supple yet fleshy and tangy on the palate with a wild ride, long finish where the maritime, Atlantic sea salt is encompassing and enriching.
