There is this incredible candied nose that is nostalgic of candy store scents in the 1950s, which I've never smelled because I'm only in my 30s but I feel as if I have been there or if I have been watching too much Willy Wonka with my 4 year old. Weird blend of nutella, licorice, candied figs and prunes, sweet licorice, truffles, chocolate, raisins, dried sage, mushrooms and burnt sugar. Absolutely dazzling and continues to change and evolve in the glass. Soft, fruit and juicy with vibrant acid and silky tannins. Easily mistaken for an aged Nebbiolo with great depth and a lingering finish.
