2015 Monsecco Ghemme

60% Nebbiolo, 40% Vespolina. Bricked color would fool an advanced somm candidate into thinking this has some age. It doesn't but there is an older quality to this wine where undercurrents of flavor fly out as you would never see in a young Nebbiolo. Rustic nose with lots of fiery earth. Juicy, mouth watering tannins give way to a ripe and lingering finish.
