2021 Vinatigo Gual

Our most desired wine from the Canary Islands and one we cannot keep on the shelves.  100% Gual barrel fermented in 25% new French. Round and fat nose with juicy citrus textures that are wild and exotic with sharp rocky, smoke penetrating through the core. Super weird mouthfeel that is a bit tingly, where tropical essence really rings out in the finish.  Listen to what wine writer, lawyer and friend Keith Levenberg has to say: "93 Points: This is a knockout from the first whiff - never had anything quite like this before. Deep and brassy in tone with strong flint and gunpowder aromatics, like sticking your nose in that volcano. It's rare for a white wine to go this bassy on the scale - even rarer for it to do so while staying as crisp as this. It's got serious bite, a combination of the acidity and what feels like stiff alcohol, but that's not an issue because a wine as dense and packed as isn't something you just throw back."
