2017 Protos Ribera del Duero Reserva 5o Año

Bodegas Protos is first winery that began the production of wine in the Ribera del Duero in 1927. This Tinta del País (Tempranillo) is from vines that are more than 60 years old. The wine sees 24 months of aging in oak barrels and it rests for an additional 36 months in the bottle.

Deep garnet in the glass with expressive aromas of plums, blackberries, roasted coffee and dark chocolate, this luscious follows through finishes with a velvety textured finish.
