2021 Terres Dorees Morgon

This is Moulin A Vent from an organic producer that specializes in the gamay varietal from the region of Beaujolais. Grown at high altitudes in volcanic soils, this is quite a rich and earthy bottling with very modest alcohol (12.5) making it a fat boy as far as richness, but a delicate flower in terms of food versatility. It's fruitful, joy juice for throwing it back with style at a party or partnering with duck, beef, pork, or an oily fish dish with a lot of cream sauce involved.
