It's been a while since I featured wines from Eric Asimov of the NYT, so today I feel as if I'm cheating a little bit with another great newspaper and columnist Lettie Teague of the Wall Street Journal. Truth be told, I don't follow these two writers as much as I should, but a few weeks back I got a call from Lettie to purchase 3 of her featured 5 Saint Veran in Saturday's WSJ article. I was somewhat surprised she called and even more surprised she let me pick two at my leisure which made the article.
I don't have much to add here other than that they are (obviously) great wines that are of incredible value.

A wine of a precision and finesse with an impressively long mineral finish, this Saint-Véran from a family-owned domaine, made in (sadly) small quantities, is most certainly worth tracking down.
