2018 Lise et Bertrand Jousset Exile Blanc

If exile is defined as being banned from one’s homeland, it was the vintages of ’14,’15 & ’16 that send the Jousset’s in search of less frozen pastures. Sourcing grapes from outside of their home AOC of Montlouis, and blending 50% Chenin, 25% Colombard & 25% Ugni Blanc. Old vines, the right kind of farming and enough peach, pear, salt combo to bring us back vintage after vintage. A silver lining to vintages lost to frost!
