The Du Cropio Ciro Rosso Classico Superiore Don Giuva opens with scents of black cherries mixed with clove, wild herbs, and a hint of sage. The palate is firm but silky, with dense, small berries coming into focus, and delicate tannins adding structure.  The finish echoes more cherries, incense, flowers, and sweet pipe tobacco.
