2020 Chateau du Chatelard Bourgogne Blanc

A tiny production of 4,000 bottles are made of this rare Bourgogne Blanc, hand-harvested from a chalky clay and limestone parcel in the village of Lancié in the Beaujolais region.  Barrel-aged for six months to soften the profile, yet allow the purity of the fruit to express itself. White stone fruit and yellow citrus supported by some creamy and baking spice notes.
